The Russian invasion of Ukraine has given rise to a desparate need for humanitarian aid for refugees. Through the efforts of aviation companies and private jet owners, missions are being conducted to provide Ukraine with that aid, according to Jaclyn Trop from Robb Report.

Airlines and manufacturers such as Titan Airways, Bombardier, and Universal Weather and Aviation have been working with relief organizations to deliver essential support, including supplies, medical assistance, and transportation to carry Ukrainian refugees to other parts of Europe. Several of these companies are public about their efforts – however, with Russian forces actively blocking and even attacking convoys and safe passages, most companies are carrying out their operations privately.

Earlier this week, UK-based publication Corporate Jet Investor launched businessaviationukraine.org in order to report on news regarding aviation companies’ humanitarian aid, as well as to create a link between aircraft owners and relief groups. The website “will get everyone donating and people who want to fly will have ways to communicate,” according to magazine publisher Alasdair Whyte in a discussion with Robb Report.

For those who want to help jet owners deliver aid to Ukraine, visit businessaviationukraine.org and make sure to donate and read up on their reports. In addition, don’t forget to check out organizations carrying out similar missions such as the ones we mentioned last week: International Rescue Committee, UNICEF, UNHCR, and Doctors Without Borders.
